POSITION: RESTAURANT MANAGER
Administrative duties: Scheduling, Inventory and ordering, Filing invoices and receipts, Securing and prepping catering orders and private events, Attending weekly management meetings, Nightly EOD email communication, Working with the Marketing Manager for social media content Staff Management: Conduct pre-service meetings before each shift, Enforce the schedule and shift coverage; Wait Staff Management (tardiness, service, training, downtime responsibilities, checking their time cards), Hiring(FOH/BOH), Staff training. Closing Procedures: Ensure closing duties are completed by assigned team members, Cashing out the staff; Cashing in the draw and making sure that there is enough change to be used the next day; Closing the restaurant; Preparing and handling the cash and accounting. During Business Hours: Table Touches/Customer Relations; Helping the staff in servicing when busy; Handling situations with customers to resolve issues; Authorizing discounts; Greeting and seating customers and assigning them a server; Answering the phone; Packing take-outs; Work during weekends and holidays.
Required: two (2) years’ experience Restaurant Management
